British Plumber Wins GBP 333K, Plans Dream Trips

A British plumber has secured a prize of over GBP 300,000 from the People’s Postcode Lottery. Despite being a bit embarrassed to admit it, he revealed that his home needed bathroom renovations, which he will cover using the prize money.

The Man Had Been Planning to Give Up on the Lottery

The winner in question was revealed as John Fearman, 62, from Heathfield, in East Sussex. The plumber said that, at first, he was blown away by the win to the point where he couldn’t speak. He noted that he had been disappointed by not winning for a while and had been planning to give up. Luckily, his win came just before that.

Fearman and his two neighbors just won the GBP 1 million jackpot from the People’s Postcode Lottery. As a result, he will receive GBP 333,333, providing him with significant financial freedom. Despite that, Fearman said that he doesn’t plan to stop working.

Still, the man said he has quite a few plans for the money.

Ferman Is Planning Home Repairs and Dream Trips

Fearman, who said the prize money had changed his life forever, said that he plans to repair his bathroom, despite, as a plumber, being somewhat ashamed to admit that. In addition to that, he said that he is planning to buy a brand new work van.

Besides renovations and new purchases, Fearman revealed that he has planned to take some of his dream holidays, which include trips to Vietnam and New Zealand.

Fearman wasn’t the only lucky person, since, as mentioned, his two neighbors also won prizes of GBP 333,333. One of them was identified as Angela West, 67, who is a breast cancer survivor. While she acknowledged that money can’t buy her health, it can at least help her and her family enjoy life more.
