  • The Hard Rock Casino team knew how important compliance would be from the get-go and therefore enlisted the help of BetComply

BetComply, a leader in iGaming regulation and compliance-related matters, has teamed up with iCasino to secure a Dutch license for its Hard Rock Casino brand. The two parties have worked together on procuring this license for a while, ensuring that iCasino will be able to offer its products in the Netherlands.

Awarded by the Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), the new license greenlights Hard Rock Casino’s foray into the country and allows it to legally target local players. In the meantime, iCasino will continue working with BetComply in the future, ensuring its continued compliance in the Dutch online casino market.

HardRockCasino.nl’s launch was announced earlier this month, expanding the presence of iCasino’s beloved gaming brand and allowing Dutch players to dive into exciting gaming experiences.

As the KSA continues to crack down on unlicensed gambling and regulatory breaches, ensuring robust compliance in the Netherlands is more important than ever. As one of the go-to compliance specialists, BetComply will empower iCasino’s operations, allowing its Hard Rock Casino brand to offer gambling safely and responsibly.

iCasino Applauded BetComply’s Spectacular Work

Paul Strikers, iCasino’s chief executive officer, commented on the Hard Rock Casino brand’s launch in the Netherlands, calling it a hugely exciting event. He added that his team knew how important compliance would be from the get-go and therefore enlisted the help of BetComply.

Strikers thanked the BetComply team for its amazing work, saying that the licensing of Hard Rock Casino in the Netherlands wouldn’t have been possible otherwise.

We thank Mike and the team for their tireless and rigorous support on our successful license application, and look forward to building upon this partnership in the future; the first step being the application for a sports betting license.

Mike de Graaff, BetComply’s chief compliance officer, described the Dutch market as a highly attractive one, offering many opportunities to companies that truly understand their regulatory obligations. With BetComply’s help, iCasino’s brand will be able to navigate the strict regulatory landscape in the country, capitalizing on its growing online casino market.

We’ve already helped more than a third of all license holders in the country, and with the KSA taking a proactive approach across all elements of regulation, we’ll continue to support our partners, including iCasino, as market conditions evolve.
