Ben Clemes Becomes Investment Portfolio Partner at HappyHour

The leading investment firm within the iGaming vertical, HappyHour.io, announced it strengthened its C-suite thanks to a new appointment. The company revealed it expanded its list of experts by adding Ben Clemes to the role of investment portfolio partner.

To his new role, he brings extensive experience of nearly two decades within business development, user experience and casino operations. In addition, Clemes has a track record in spearheading the growth of brands and companies within the online gambling vertical.

As an investment portfolio partner with HappyHour, he will play a key role in the company’s future growth. Moreover, he will oversee HappyHour’s global expansion and investment growth. In his new role at the company, Clemes will also contribute toward expanding HappyHour’s ties with different startups within the gambling vertical. He will be based in San Francisco and play an important role in the company’s relations with different North American-based investors, partners and startups.

Clemes joins a growing team of experts at HappyHour. As a part of the company’s C-suite, he will collaborate with its managing partner, Robin Reed. This isn’t the first time the duo join forces. Reed and Clemes co-founded the gaming industry giant, Gaming Innovation Group (GiG).

The New Investment Portfolio Partner Brings Extensive Experience

Overall, Clemes brings more than 16 years of experience within the gambling vertical. While with GiG, he held different management-level roles, including chief business officer, chief commercial officer, as well as general manager of GiG North America.

During his tenure with GiG, Clemes played an important role for one of the company’s flagship brands, Guts.com. In addition, he spearheaded the expansion and growth of GiG’s platform business, GiG Core in North America.
