Tropicana Las Vegas Is Selling Iconic Mementos Prior Closing
Tropicana Las Vegas has prepared a pre-demolition liquidation sale with mementos from the resort before the official closing date on April 2

The announced demolition of Tropicana in Las Vegas scheduled for October has already paved the way for the creation of a brand-new baseball stadium in the city.
Now, Tropicana Las Vegas is getting ready to sell iconic memorabilia from the 67-year-old resort through a pre-demolition liquidation sale.
The liquidation sale will be staged by International Content Liquidations (ICL) and it will mostly focus on restaurant fixtures, furniture, TVs, as well as fixtures from 1,800 hotel rooms.
Prices as Low as $1
Anyone interested in taking home a Tropicana memento can expect to pay as low as $1 for a hotel dresser or a Kleenex box, $2.5 for a bath towel, $4 hair dryer, $5 for a patio set featuring a table and two chairs, $6 vanity mirror, $10 for a nightstand, $28 for a floor lamp, $45 for a hand sink, $50 for a bar stool, $99 for a King size bed, or $1500 for a Margarita machine,
Other items on the list include mirrors with wooden frames, end tables, Queen sized beds, artwork, bed frames, lamps, room safes, radios, toilets, locks and keys, iHome, coffee makers, telephones, hair dryers, pillows, floor mats, bath towels, and luggage racks.
The ICL platform also mentions additional casino resort items that will be a part of the sale liquidation sale, like furniture items from all available suites and rooms, more than 1,000 flat-screen televisions, hundreds of gaming stools, restaurant equipment from Robert Irvine’s Public House, Red Lotus, or Tuscan Grill, and bathroom linens.
No Standard Casino Items for Sale
To the disappointment of casino aficionados, the announced ICL listing did not mention any classic casino memorabilia.
Even more, the items that are ready for sale will not feature the Tropicana branding. Nonetheless, they are still expected to grab the attention of casino collectors.
One particularly interesting item that will be available for sale is the chandelier from the nightclub as well as patio furnishings from what used to be one of the most luxurious pools on The Strip.
Other intriguing items for sale are the 1,100 tables, seats, and private booths that belonged to the Tropicana Theater that hosted personalities like Ann-Margret, the Osmonds, Pearl Bailey, and comedian Jack Benny.
At the end of March, Bally’s senior vice president and general manager Ameet Patel confirmed the organization of several job fairs to assist workers in their new endeavors.
