Stats Perform’s AI Services Hired by Thai Soccer Association

Stats Perform, a global sports data technology company leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), announced this week the Thailand Football Association joined the ranks of the firm’s business partners.
Elevate Thai Soccer to the Next Level
By becoming the latest sports organization to choose sports AI and the services of Stats Perform as its exclusive official data and integrity partner, the Thailand Football Association is set to benefit from a wide range of services offered by the sports technology company, including the Opta and RunningBall brands.
“We describe Stats Perform as the DNA of sport because our content is the deeply-embedded code that helps sport grow by giving fans, media and sponsors the right information, in the right amount of detail, in the right way.”
Steve Cliffe, Vice President, APAC, Stats Perform
Thailand Football Association’s general secretary Patit Suphaphongs hailed the partnership with “the best-known and most trusted data provider to the world’s leading sports leagues” Stats Perform, emphasizing the positive effect the firm’s services and famous Opta brand had on other leagues, teams and players, pushing them to the next level.
“Our alignment with Stats Perform means the highest quality live stats, analysis & tools that will help us attract more fans and sponsors, enhance traditional broadcasts, power outstanding fantasy products and supercharge our social, online and offline presence.”
Patit Suphaphongs, General Secretary, Thailand Football Association
The Opta and RunningBall services will be collecting and distributing real-time scores and data from Thai League 1, League 2, FA Cup and League Cup competitions, as well as Thai national teams for the next 8 years under the new agreement, while Stats Perform’s Integrity division will provide monitoring and risk management services.
Visual Graphics and Data-Powered Content
Stats Perform’s Pressbox Graphics platform that is currently used by major professional sports teams worldwide to drive engagement and sponsor awareness will be deployed across the Thai leagues and competitions to help them increase fan engagement throughout the whole match-day lifecycle by utilizing automated visual graphics and animations, powered by Opta data.
“We’re very excited to now be working with the Thailand Football Association and helping them ensure that the standards of their pre-game, live and post-game coverage reflect the high calibre of play on the field,” added Cliffe.
The agreement with Stats Perform placed the Thailand Football Association among sports organizations such as the English Premier League, Spain’s LaLiga, Italy’s Serie A, Germany Bundesliga, France’s Ligue 1, Major League Soccer, Japan’s J-League and Australia’s A Leagues, utilizing detailed statistics and Opta data to power broadcast, media coverage, sponsorships and fantasy games.
