Sportsbooks Close Oasis Reunion Bets as Group Hints at 2025 Tour

Sportsbooks will no longer accept betting on Oasis’ reunion as the Gallagher brothers suggest that they might be joining forces once again. The English rock band abruptly disbanded in 2009 following the sudden departure of Noel Gallagher but its reunion might be more than a distant dream after all.

Oasis Disbanded Amid Internal Disagreements

The Gallagher brothers have been a critical part of the band almost since its inception. Liam, who joined in 1991 as a vocalist and tambourine player was soon joined by his brother, Noel, who served as a vocalist and the group’s lead guitar player.

After playing for almost 20 years, however, the two brothers got into a quarrel over Liam’s inability to play at the V Festival in Chelmsford. While Liam had contracted laryngitis, the group stated that the show was canceled due to his hangover. Liam sued Noel for this wrongful statement but eventually dropped the suit after the latter brother apologized.

A few days later, just before a gig in Paris, however, Noel quit the group, saying that he could not work with Liam “a day longer.” This wasn’t the first time Noel had left the group, although had previously come back after just a few days of absence. This time, however, it was much more serious.

The two brothers went their separate ways, continuing to play music. Noel’s career continued undisrupted but Liam did encounter a few difficulties causing him to pull out from the music sector for a few years.

Oasis Might Reunite, the Gallagher Brothers Suggest

While many fans had lost any hope of Oasis reuniting, some still hoped that the group would return together. As a result, certain betting operators offered wagers on the group’s potential reunion.

However, they abruptly stopped taking wagers on Oasis’ reuinion once Liam and Noel shared the same image on their respective social media accounts, strongly suggesting that the group is preparing for a return in 2025.

Excited fans are convinced that Oasis will be returning for a new series of shows in 2025, with some rumors suggesting that tickets are to go on sale in the next seven days.

Liam Gallagher’s recent participation saw him dedicate a song to his brother, reinforcing the rumors.

The success of Liam and Noel’s individual careers has strengthened Oasis fans’ desire to see the group reunited. And, luckily, the reunion seems more than a distant dream.
