Sportingtech Appoints Bobby Longhurst as New Managing Director
Sports betting and gaming platform provider Sportingtech has revealed a new executive change by appointing Bobby Longhurst as the company’s new managing director. In this position, Longhurst will oversee the company’s growth ambitions and the general strategy needed to be deployed to achieve this.
Sportingtech Brings the Right Executive to the Job
Previously, Longhurst took numerous important stints within the iGaming and gambling industry, making him a good fit. He worked as CCO for Pronet Gaming and commercial director at SBTech before the company was acquired by DraftKings. He also served as business development manager with Sporting Solutions.
He is not going to join alone, though, as the new managing director has already appointed several senior executives to name Colin McDonagh as chief sales officer and Anthony Murphy as head of commercial account management. Daniel Stone is also joining as head of marketing.
These changes should enable Sportingtech to remain a highly competitive a desirable platform partner moving forward. The company has been focusing on actively providing its cutting-edge software on global markets, featuring not just advanced sports betting and iGaming platforms but also a number of other offers, such as lotteries.
Sportingtech Committed on Global Growth
The company’s global presence is now further strengthened with a focus on the Latin American platform where it has debuted its Quantum platform and plans to introduce more changes. Speaking about his appointment, Longhurst said:
I am delighted to be joining Sportingtech at such an exciting time in its development, as I believe we have a great opportunity to make a real impact in the industry. We have a very talented team in place and I’m very pleased that we can add some further management experience to it, to build upon the success the company has enjoyed to date.
