Spanish Police Busts Gang That Robbed Gambling Halls

Spain’s south will no longer be terrorized by a criminal gang that targeted gambling halls across the region. Following an operation led by the La Policía Nacional, arrests were made, and the gang’s high-ranking members have been apprehended.

Police authorities first began investigating the gang in 2025 when they first realized that a string of crimes across the south, targeting gambling halls specifically, were all connected.

The police were able to trace the gang back to Murcia in Alicante, which eventually led to the arrest of four of its members, and charges of robbery with force. 

Authorities were able to trace the very first robbery to the Spanish province, which gave them an idea where to look for the gang despite the criminals acting in other provinces, too. 

Gang Acted Professionally, Had Skilled Specialists to Carry Out the Robberies

The people currently apprehended may face further charges, as more robberies are being looked into that could be connected to the gang.

As to gambling hall businesses, they can finally relax, as they will not be terrorized by what appeared to be a highly professional crime outfit. According to local media reports, the gang was able to open slot machines effortlessly and scoop the cash inside.

Members of the gang had a variety of marketable skills in their profession, such as safecracking experts, as well as getaway drivers. 

The gang did not simply show up to rob a place, but also engaged in observation, according to police, with members reportedly also seeking to establish inside connections in the businesses they targeted. 

While the arrests have been confirmed, police did not specify when they were enacted.
