A ticket on Monday, August 11, won $2,019,939.50 from the Cash 5 lottery game, the Pennsylvania Lottery revealed this week. The player used the Quick Cash option to pick the numbers, resulting in the following winning combination: 5-12-19-29-39.

The ticket was bought at a GIANT Food Store at 4655 Perkiomen Ave., Reading, and the property itself will also scoop up a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The winner, though, has not been identified.
Monday also saw a wave of players winning prizes from Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets, some 37,200 tickets in total. The Pennsylvania Lottery has issued a reminder to anyone who may have bought a ticket to double-check and see if theirs is among the 37,200 winning tickets on that draw.
The odds of winning the grand prize are not too bad, with players only asked to match five exact numbers. The Pennsylvania Lottery is particularly keen to find out who the person winning the $2,019,935.50 reward is.
The person would have two options to claim their reward – either take a lump sum, which would cut around 40%-60% of their total win because of federal and state taxes. The less popular option is an annuity, which will save on taxes, but split the total over more than a decade of payouts.
The Pennsylvania Lottery is habitually minting new millionaires and big-time winners, with the state grabbing headlines often.
