Sharabutdin Magomedov vs. Marc-André Barriault UFC Abu Dhabi Odds, Time, and Prediction
Sharabutdin Magomedov vs. Marc-André Barriault is one of the most exciting fights of UFC Abu Dhabi – which is taking place at Etihad Arena on Saturday, July 26 – because “Shara Bullet” is looking to bounce back after suffering the first loss of his career

In February, Sharabutdin Magomedov suffered his first-ever loss – Michael Page beat him by a decision. Now, the one-eyed Dagestani fighter is 15-1, which is still pretty impressive. However, if he loses again, the Shara hype may disappear. This is why we predict he’ll go all-in against Marc-André Barriault on July 26.

UFC Abu Dhabi Odds Favoring Shara Magomedov
Bookies expect Shara Magomedov to bounce back after the loss to Michael “Venom” Page. He lost by a unanimous decision after what we think was his most boring UFC fight.
But it’s not because of him; it’s because MVP fought tactically, landing just five significant strikes more – which was good enough for the judges.

Before that, Shara’s UFC fights saw way more excitement. On his promotional debut, he beat up Bruno Silva. Then, he KO-ed Antonio Troccoli, before out-striking Michal Oleksiejczuk.
The last time he won a fight, it was by a KO against Armen Petrosyan. It was one of the best KOs in the UFC history – Shara pulled off a double spinning back fist.
Obviously, he’s an incredibly dangerous fighter, with super-fast hands and unpredictable moves. But so is Marc-André Barriault.
Can Marc-André Barriault Stage an Upset?
Marc-André Barriault ended his three-fight skid last May with a KO win over Bruno Silva. He did it in the first round, showing that he’s got the power. But his last two losses too happened in Round 1 – he got KO-ed by Joe Pyfer and Dustin Stoltzfus.
Not being able to properly defend himself against strikes is his biggest weakness. He gets hit 5.57 times a minute, which is a lot. In comparison, Shara gets hit 4.13 times.
On the bright side for MAB, he also produces a lot of strikes. However, history shows that the Canadian rarely wins striking duels. If he doesn’t finish his opponent, he usually ends up losing – he won only two of his six UFC fights that went the distance.
Sharabutdin Magomedov vs. Marc-André Barriault Prediction
We think the UFC are doing Shara a favor for pitting him against MAB. The Canadian is the kind of fighter he does great against. Whenever he fought against a striker who gets hit as much, he won the fight. We think he’s gonna win again. In fact, we think Shara will get another KO win.
