SG to Boost Sports Technology Offering via SportCast Acquisition

Scientific Games announced today that it acquired SportCast. The acquisition brings SportCast’s innovative BetBuilder product to Scientific Games. With the help of the unique instant-pricing feature, the company will boost its global presence, services, and content.
Scientific Games Acquires BetBuilder Creator SportCast
Leading gambling product supplier, Scientific Games Corporation announced today that it acquired SportCast. By acquiring the sports betting experiences company, Scientific Games bolsters its global suite of sports technology, services, and content.
SportCast is a globally recognized leader in sports betting player engagement experiences. The company was founded in 2013 and it is famous for its innovative BetBuilder product. BetBuilder is a unique feature that enables players to “build bets across multiple markets on a single game with instant pricing through a seamless User Interface (UI)“.
Major industry players have seen the potential of instant-pricing technology. Consequently, it was adopted by more than fifty quality brands such as PointsBet, BetMGM, 888, Entain, Betsson, Tabcorp, and many more. Furthermore, the growth of pre-match, in-play, and same-game parlays within the North American market has also boosted the process.
With the help of cloud-based technology and integrated machine learning models, SportCast ensures high speed and precision, complemented by incredible response times. Furthermore, the technology is capable of processing more than 12,000 bets per second across major sports globally such as soccer, baseball, American football, basketball, tennis, and ice hockey.
