Robbery at Muckleshoot Casino Results in Charges Against Couple
The suspected male and female attackers remain in jail facing charges for robbery in the first degree

Despite the efforts of casinos to prevent crimes such as scams, robberies and fraud, such cases are not uncommon. Culprits often target brick-and-mortar casinos considering their easy access to high amounts of cash. At the same time, fortunate casino winners also fall victim to robberies.
In one such criminal case, a man and a woman, who allegedly robbed one casino winner at Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, Washington, were recently detained and charged. The case involves a 31-year-old Winlock woman identified with the initials T.C.P., as well as a 32-year-old man from Elma, identified with the initials A.P.
The Two Suspects Reportedly Had a Criminal Record
The two suspects were detained at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma by law enforcement on September 6. Each of them is facing a charge of robbery in the first degree, a report released by Kent Reporter suggests.
The media outlet, citing prosecutors, revealed that the bail set for the 32-year-old man is $250,000. On the other hand, the bail for the 31-year-old female, suspected of being involved in the crime, is set at $25,000. According to a speaker for the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the two currently remain in jail.
To make matters worse, the 31-year-old woman has a previous conviction for theft in the second degree along with a burglary from the Lewis County Superior Court. On the other hand, the 32-year-old man’s similar charges are currently outstanding as his case is yet to progress further.
Victim Was Attacked with a Tire Iron, Knife
The two detainees are accused of robbing one visitor of the Muckleshoot Casino. Charges against the duo allege that they attacked one casino visitor at the parking garage of the venue and then robbed him of his winnings.
The victim, whose name was not disclosed, won approximately $1,000 at the casino. When he decided to leave with his car, the man headed to the Muckleshoot Casino’s parking garage. This is when he was allegedly approached by the female suspect who flirted with him.
This caused the casino winner to let his guard down and once this happened, the 31-year-old woman signaled the male attacker who was at the garage with a Dodge Charger. After that, the male attacker approached the victim with a tire iron.
The casino patron attempted to defend himself with a hammer, but the male attacker then drew a knife. In the end, the victim was robbed. It didn’t take long for law enforcement to identify the two suspects after reviewing CCTV footage and uncovering their IDs that were scanned upon entry at the casino.
