PrizePicks Becomes NBA’s Official DFS Partner

The deal will vastly increase PrizePicks’s visibility, since it will allow it to launch NBA-themed promotional campaigns and join the NBA for co-marketing efforts across the NBA digital and media platforms

PrizePicks, a daily fantasy sports (DFS) leader in North America, unveiled a major new partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA). This deal will position the DFS company as the Official Daily Fantasy Sports Partner of the NBA, providing fan engagement opportunities to both parties.

NBA & PrizePicks Join Forces

The partnership with the famous basketball league will see PrizePicks integrate NBA intellectual property across its DFS and free-to-play products. The deal also allows PrizePicks to leverage the NBA partnership for marketing purposes.

Under the agreement, PrizePicks will be allowed to use the NBA League, collective NBA Team and NBA Event marks across its app and website. The company will also be able to use imagery of NBA players across its marketing, promotions, and content. This will provide PrizePicks with many new fan engagement opportunities, allowing it to create new innovative experiences and NBA-themed content.

The deal will also vastly increase the DFS platform’s visibility, since it will allow it to launch NBA-themed promotional campaigns and join the NBA for co-marketing efforts across the NBA digital and media platforms.

According to the announcement, the deal was facilitated by KLUTCH Sports Group’s Brand Consulting and Sports and Brand Insights divisions.

An Important Milestone for PrizePicks

Mike Ybarra, PrizePicks’ chief executive officer, was thrilled about the partnership with the NBA and called it an “important milestone” for his team.
