The game counts seven regular paying symbols, both low-paying Royals that pay 0.2x to 150x for clusters of 5-49 matching symbols and three high-paying Monsters that pay 0.5x to 5,000x for clusters 5-49 clusters.

Compared to the majority of classic cluster pays games, Book of Monsters will not use winning combinations to trigger cascading symbols. Also, no Wild symbol is included in the gameplay. 

During tandem vase game rounds, symbols of 3×3, 4×4, 5×5, 6×6, or 7×7 sizes can, however, randomly show up during each new spin. 

Landing between four and seven bonus symbols will activate a free spins feature with five to eight free spins. 

The Bold symbol will be randomly chosen from all the symbols. Prior to the start of the bonus round, you can try to get your hands on up to eight more free spins or a Bold symbol with a more generous value. 

During the free spins round, the Bold symbol will be seen expanding to up to 7×7 once a sufficient number of matching symbols will show up on the reels.
