Prediction markets leader Polymarket has formed a new partnership with Madison Square Garden Sports Corp., positioning itself as the official prediction market partner of the New York Rangers. This agreement highlights the continued growth of prediction markets and their gradual integration into the popular mindset.

Polymarket Joins the Rangers Family

Madison Square Garden Sports Corp., which owns the NHL’s New York Rangers, announced that it has named Polymarket as the team’s official prediction market partner. In this position, the event contracts platform will be featured extensively throughout the club’s games at its home stadium, Madison Square Garden. Polymarket’s logo will appear across the arena’s LED signage, on-ice contests, concourse activations and digitally-enhanced dasherboard signage during local and nationally broadcast Rangers games, the announcement stated.

The brand’s logo will also appear on signage outside of Madison Square Garden, further increasing the event contracts platform’s visibility.

In addition to being named as the franchise’s official prediction market partner, Polymarket has also been named presenting partner for one of the New York Rangers’ Centennial Theme Nights during the 2025-26 season.

Polymarket has also become the presenting partner of in-game polls and has secured a dedicated post-game segment and branded commercials.

A Perfect Match

MSG Sports’ chief operating officer, Jamaal Lesane, hailed the agreement, calling it a “landmark partnership” for the Rangers. Lesane was pleased to have Polymarket join the Rangers family, praising the platform as “one of the most reliable and forward-thinking prediction market operators” in the world.

Polymarket becomes not just an Official Partner of the Rangers, but they will also be involved across digital channels, fan activations and promotions at Rangers games.

Polymarket’s founder and CEO, Shayne Coplan, was similarly pleased with the tie-up. He expressed excitement about joining forces with the Rangers, connecting with their incredibly dedicated fanbase, and introducing a “new, dynamic layer of engagement to the fan experience.”

Prediction markets offer fans a real-time, interactive way to connect with the game, and the Rangers are an ideal franchise to bring this experience to a broader audience.
