PokerGO to Host StormX Poker Event With $5,000 Buy-In

Global poker entertainment and television leader PokerGO has agreed to host cryptocurrency company StormX’s first invite-only poker tournament. The event will host a number of personalities from the professional poker scene, NBA stars, and cryptocurrency pioneers, it will be held on March 3 and streamed live on YouTube, StormX’s official website, as well as a plethora of social media channels.
The Event Will Host More Than 80 Participants
Ranging from poker pros Maria Ho and Nick Shulman to Victoria’s Secret model Amber Arbucci, expert Nascar driver Landon Cassill, Litecoin creator Charlie Lee, Youtuber DJ Crypto, and NBA star Michael Carter-Williams, the invitation-only poker tournament will host 81 participants in total.
The tournament’s buy-in is set at $5,000 and there is also a one-time re-buy of $5,000 that participants will have the opportunity to opt for if they want to make a second appearance behind the tables. Together, the participants will compete for a minimum prize pool of $405,000 during the event that will be held at the prestigious Las-Vegas based PokerGo Studio, at the Aria Resort & Casino. Part of the proceeds will go to a number of charity organizations in Miami in an attempt to enhance both the financial as well as crypto literacy in the area.
StormX currently provides crypto cashback via a dedicated app and Chrome extension. The company also has plans to launch a physical debit card alternative, while foreseeing many more poker tournaments in the upcoming years, next to be the same PokerGO partner, as per their recently signed agreement.
StormX Will Do Branding Work Across PokerGO’s Event Portfolio
