Playtech Teams up with Golden Matrix for Esports Distribution

Looking to expand its esports and betting presence globally, Golden Matrix and Playtech entered into a key partnership. Golden Matrix CEO, Brian Goodman deemed the partnership as a “significant milestone” for the company.

Playtech and Golden Matrix Enter into a Collaboration Agreement

The leading gambling technology company Playtech plc and the gaming platform and content developer Golden Matrix Group Inc. entered into a key collaboration yesterday. Under the partnership, the companies are aiming at expanding their share in esports and betting game markets globally. 

As a part of the agreement, Playtech will receive exclusive rights to distribute the newly-developed suite of esports, peer-to-peer betting games by Golden Matrix. Furthermore, Golden Matrix will have non-exclusive rights to distribute the most popular games by Playtech throughout its network. The software which Golden Matrix will distribute will include live dealer games, slots, table games, bingo, and poker games by Playtech.

A Significant Milestone for Golden Matrix

In a statement, Playtech’s CEO, Mor Weizer outlined that the success of the company is driven by strategic partnerships with industry-leading specialists. Furthermore, he added that the collaboration between Playtech and its partners increases the scale and reach of the company’s distribution capabilities.

Weizer said that the company is delighted to announce the partnership with GMGI. According to him, this is the first step of the partnership which will be marked by the launch of esport, P2P, and other innovative software expanding Playtech’s distribution of quality content.

According to Brian Goodman, Golden Matrix CEO, the collaboration agreement represents a “significant milestone” for the company. He outlined that Playtech is the industry’s “most prestigious technology provider and distributor“.

Furthermore, Goodman said that with Playtech as Peer2P distribution partner, the exciting content by Golden Matrix will be introduced to new gaming audiences, extending the company’s reach in the fast-growing U.S. market. The Golden Matrix CEO added that the company will also benefit greatly by adding the best Playtech gaming software to its GM-X product offerings.
