OpenBet Teams with StatsBomb to Power SportCast

OpenBet has signed a new partnership with StatsBomb and will use the latter’s data and trading analytics to enhance its own product, SportCast. The collaboration is struck on time for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar which will get underway in November.
OpenBet Set to up the Proposition Bets Market
Thanks to this new tie-up, OpenBet will integrate StatsBomb data through the SportCast product suite and deliver advanced and premium pricing products. SportCast will benefit immensely from StatsBomb’s data resulting in improved player props, expanding on markets for shots, shots on target, assists, tackles, passes, and more.
These markets will be applied to teams, matches, and individual players. The betting markets will be integrated directly with SportCast’s BetBuilder platform. StatsBomb has been at the forefront of sports data collection and analysis, owing its expertise to a highly esteemed team of traders who work alongside AI to process information in real time and help sports fans get actionable information.
StatsBomb is a reliable partner to soccer clubs from around the world and presently works with more than 100 clubs across 25 countries. The partnership with OpenBet will see other opportunities materialize with the pair covering events besides the World Cup tournament and focusing on other opportunities as well.
The partnership was welcomed all around with OpenBet CPO Nikos Konstakis confirming that the company was delighted with the partnership. “We’ve had the modeling capability to offer these deeper betting markets for some time and now we‘ve forged an exciting data partnership to deliver an unparalleled product in time for the biggest football event in the world,” the executive added.
SportCast VP Co-Founder and VP of Content at Open Bet, Ryan Coombs, said that this new opportunity was just the first in a series of enhancements that will follow down the road for the company, looking to secure new and better sports betting experiences across all channels for players.
StatsBomb to Continue Delivering on Excellent Opportunities
StatsBomb CMO Simon Banoub was equally pleased with the development. He said that the company was excited to announce its partnership with OpenBet. “This agreement will further establish StatsBomb as the data provider of choice in this market,” Banoub.
Banoub stressed that professional sports teams from all over the continue to rely on StatsBomb’s data and the company will now be able to power the SportCast tool by OpenBet, adding even more value to the sports betting landscape and ecosystem.
