North Carolina $1M Lottery Winner Dreamed of the Big Prize

A man in North Carolina had an interesting revelation when he dreamed that he would win big from the lottery, and decided to act on this

A man in North Carolina had a dream that he would end up winning the lottery in a big way. Unsuspecting of the luck that was coming his way, but determined to give it a shot, Ricky Nunnery Jr. from Sanford decided that he would see if there was any truth to his dreams.

Big Dream of Winning the Lottery Becomes a Reality

He decided to drop by a Wink Mart gas station on the next day, and just like that, he won $1,000,000 prize from the $10 ticket he had bought. Not only had Nunnery Jr. turned millionaire overnight – he also won the very first prize in the state’s brand-new game!

Nunnery Jr., though, has opted for a much smaller payout as he was eager to collect the money right away, which slashed his payout by $430,503 – the amount of tax owed to the state and federal government. And yet, Nunnery Jr. kept his upbeat attitude, acknowledging the sheer coincidence of his win.

“I am tickled to death with this,” he noted, fully realizing that his win was based on improbable chance. He still decided to be a little mysterious, though, and shared with the lottery that “something” told him to play on that very same day.

The game is still up and running, and it has four more available $1,000,000 prizes to offer. Perhaps someone else would dream of a big win themselves?
