A player from New Jersey has won a mouth-watering prize from the local lottery. The player in question was enjoying the Jersey Cash 5 game and became its 47th winner for the year.
The 47th Win for 2025
A New Jersey local has secured a $150,000 jackpot from the lottery’s Jersey Cash 5 game after correctly guessing the five winning numbers. For context, the winning numbers for the drawing in question were 01, 04, 05, 23 and 4. The XTRA and Bullseye were 03 and 01, respectively.
For context, the XTRA feature allows players to increase their chance to win non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. The Bullseye feature, on the other hand, provides players with another shot at winning a prize.
The win happened on September 2 and marked the 47th time the jackpot had been won this year.
According to the New Jersey Lottery, the winning ticket was sold at the Stop N Shop on Menlo Park Drive in Edison, Middlesex County. As a result, the shop will get a $2,000 bonus.
Lottery Players Win Amazing Prizes
In other news, a man from Ohio recently won $500,000 from the lottery just as his family needed it the most. The winner was very excited that he would be able to cover his wife’s medical expenses as she undergoes cancer treatment and promised to do something special for her once she gets better.
The Florida Lottery, on the other hand, just listed its top winners for May, highlighting several recipients of prizes of over a million dollars.
In the meantime, the Powerball jackpot continues to go unclaimed and is currently standing at a staggering $1.7 billion.
