Callan will also help boost awareness for the company and 888 will issue frequent blog updates on the rider’s progress. Callan will also write an 888sport column for The Sun and will make appearances at TalkSPORT2, which is also sponsored by triple-8.
Busy Season Ahead with Callan’s Insights Available
The rider is expected to have a busy season up and down the country this year, the company said in a press release. He previously spent 10 years in Hong Kong where he managed to amass an impressive track record of career winnings totaling £37.1 million ($45.94 million) from across 4,000 rides.
Callan said that he’s looking forward to the new season which will be very busy but he expected to provide excellent content and insights for 888sport customers and fans. 888 VP head of sport Kieran Spellman shared 888’s own delight to be teaming up with Callan. Spellman said:
“He enjoyed a hugely successful career in Hong Kong and we are really looking forward to working with him and supporting him on his return to take on the new generation of UK and Irish flat racing stars.”
