Mohegan Sun Launches New Sky Slot Tournament Zone

Mohegan Sun is adding another attraction to its growing list of gaming experiences with the opening of the Sky Slot Tournament Zone, located near the Cabaret Theatre inside Casino of the Sky.

This new space, the first of its kind at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, is dedicated entirely to IGT slot machines and features more than 40 titles, including popular games like Wheel of Fortune, Cleopatra, Hex Breaker, and Stinkin’ Rich. 

Each machine can easily switch between regular play and tournament mode, creating a flexible setup for casual play or competitive fun.

Slot tournaments at Mohegan Sun often feature prize pools reaching up to $50,000, with big payouts for the top finishers. The next tournament, the $15,000 Veterans Day Slot Tournament, will take place on November 11 at 4:00 p.m. Participants can register on-site at the Sky Slot Tournament Zone or at nearby kiosks.

Momentum members also earn points and rewards through both in-person and online play, unlocking perks such as event invitations, hotel discounts, concert tickets, spa deals, and dining offers.

Lights, Slots, Action Hotel Package

To mark the opening, Mohegan Sun is also introducing a special hotel offer in the form of a “Lights, Slots, Action Hotel Package” featuring a $50 Free Slot Play voucher for guests who book an overnight stay. 

The package is open to players aged 21 and over and can be reserved through January 31, 2026.

Guests must have a free Momentum account to book the package, which they can easily set up at any Player’s Club booth.
