He was even better in the final round of the regular season, which saw him get a triple-double against the same opponent – 28 points, 11 rebounds, and 17 assists.

King James has been fantastic, but in 2024, the Lakers are not a one-man army. On the contrary, this team has some really great players on the roster, including Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, D’Angelo Russell, and others.

Denver Nuggets Looking Great on Home Turf

The Denver Nuggets went 57-25 in the regular season. On their turf – Ball Arena – their record was 33-8. In their most recent home game, they beat the NBA’s best defense, the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-107.

Denver’s best player Nikola Jokic scored 41 points that evening, which was his highest-scoring performance since he scored 42 against the San Antonio Spurs earlier this month, once again at Ball at home.

Jokic is one of the top favorites for the MVP award this season as he’s been great in all aspects of the game. He also has a very good record against the Lakers, scoring 35 points the last time the Nuggets played against them (March 2).

We think this is going to be a very close game. The Nuggets are great at home, and Nikola Jokic is in top form, which explains why the betting odds are favoring these guys.
