Illinois Lottery Crowns a $1.7M Winner on FastPlay Ultimate Diamond Jackpot Game

A second huge ticket has dropped in Illinois from the FastPlay game series in as many weeks, after someone won $1,694,919 from the FastPlay Ultimate Diamond Jackpot Game on Wednesday, March 4.

This win comes on the tail of a similar win, with another player winning $1,497,172 from the Cash Castle game. The two wins have effectively added to the jackpot tally, which has seen as many as 20 million-worth of prizes awarded since the FastPlay genre of games was introduced. 

With the Ultimate Diamond Jackpot starting at a mere $75,000, accumulating $1.7 million in prize payouts is quite significant. On balance, FastPlay Ultimate Diamond Jackpot generated more than 165,000 winning tickets in 2026 alone, totaling more than $9.5 million in prizes. 

The Illinois Lottery has celebrated the success of the FastPlay genre of games, with more than 30 such titles now offered, and most of them producing big-time winners, as well as drawing steady interest from local players.

Yet, this is not the only big jackpot recently won in the state. The small town of Harvard in Illinois has produced its latest lottery winner, with someone scooping $1.15 million from the Lucky Day Lotto game just recently. 

The evening drawing for the game on Saturday, February 21, produced the latest seven-figure winner, having people guessing who that may be.
