IGT’s Cashless Solution Approved for Nevada Deployment

Gambling tech supplier International Game Technology (IGT) announced today its entire cashless gaming solution is now approved for deployment in Nevada following the regulatory approval gained for its Resort Wallet module of the ADVANTAGETM casino management system.

Green Light for Statewide Deployment

The announcement that IGT’s Resort Wallet completed the final stages of the regulatory approval process in Nevada further strengthened IGT’s market position as a leader in the cashless space, offering casino operators in the state a turnkey, fully integrated cashless gaming solution with external funding.

IGT ADVANTAGETM casino management system allows casino players to fund their Cashless Wagering Accounts using IGTPay on their smartphones or other mobile devices to transfer funds from external payment sources without any need to visit a casino cage, ATM, kiosk or to handle cash.

IGTPay utilizes a wide range of external payment sources, including bank accounts, credit and debit cards, and Sightline Play+ prepaid accounts. IGT and Sightline Payments signed an agreement in October to add Play+ as a funding option for IGT’s land-based casino partners. Last month, IGT also added Sightline’s loyalty platform, Joingo, to further boost the customer experience.

Cashless Funding, Withdrawal and Play

Resort Wallet and IGTPay allow casino players to move around funds from external sources to their Cashless Wagering Accounts and vice versa, as well as to seamlessly initiate or conclude slot plays by simply tapping on their smartphones.

Both payment solutions received industry recognition at the 2021 Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas, being selected as the “Product Innovation of the Year” and helped IGT win the “Technology Provider of the Year” award in the International Gaming Awards in September last year.
