Fogo de Chão Announces First Location on The Strip in 2025
Popular Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão will open its first restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip, choosing The Venetian as a host

Brazil’s iconic Fogo de Chão restaurant known for its Culinary Art of Churrasco (roasting high-quality cuts of meat over an open flame) turned into a cultural dining experience will open its first Las Vegas Strip venue at The Venetian.
Excellent Expansion for the Casino-Resort
Highly appreciated for its prix fixe Full Churrasco Experience, which provides an ongoing selection of premium cuts butchered daily by gaucho chefs, the grilling restaurant will join the casino resort, which has already established itself as a culinary powerhouse over the years.
At the moment, guests can enjoy Greek cuisine at Estiatorio Milos, Latin fusion at Chica, and refined Japanese dishes at Wakuda.
Besides the Brazilian steakhouse that will open its doors later this year, the property is also getting ready to welcome three new steakhouses: Bazaar Meat, Boa, and Cote.
While the company recently confirmed its upcoming Las Vegas Strip outpost, no additional details were provided by representatives.
Not Their First Venture In Vegas
Fogo de Chão is widely spread in all parts of the world, covering South America, Mexico, the Middle East, the United States, and Puerto Rico.
While the announced location on the Strip will be a first in the company’s history, the brand has already established a presence in Sin City for over a decade, with its existing location at 360 E. Flamingo Road in the Hughes Center.
This venue has been serving guests since late 2011. A second location was opened in Downtown Summerlin in 2015 but closed its doors in 2018.
Recently, the Flamingo Road restaurant underwent renovation work, updating the design of its Bar Fogo, creating a refreshed Market Table, and adding new lighting, seating, and decor enhancements.
Bold Plans for 2025
The brand, whose roots can be traced back to 1979 when it was founded by Brazilian brothers in Porto Alegre, the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, is set for significant expansion in 2025, with 14 other openings planned besides The Venetian.
The list includes nine locations that are already undergoing construction. The brand that reached its 100th location in 2024 will enter Ohio and Tennessee while continuing its global growth through a franchise model.
The company, which counts over 10,000 team members, also plans to bring its signature churrasco experience to New York’s World Trade Center, Santa Monica, Nashville, and Columbus.
Several existing restaurants in Orlando, Boston, and Scottsdale will also undergo renovations.
“Over the past few years, we have laid a strong foundation to showcase the scalability of our authentic and differentiated brand,” said Chief Executive Officer Barry McGowan.
“As we enter 2025, Fogo is well-positioned for maintaining our year-over-year 15% growth.”, he added.
Both the brand-new and the remodeled locations will feature open churrasco grills, dry-aged meat lockers, and vibrant gathering spaces, including enclosed patios, rooftops, and lounges. Select locations will also introduce the Next Level Lounge that will serve craft cocktails and premium spirits.
