Finnplay and Janshen-Hahnraths Team for Netherlands Launch

Online gaming technology supplier Finnplay Technologies has announced that its products and services entered the newly regulated Dutch market via a partnership with Janshen-Hahnraths Group.

The partnership between Nordic-based mobile betting and iGaming tech supplier Finnplay Technologies and the company operating the Fair Play Casino land-based brand will utilize the brand online on the platform provided by Finnplay.

Speaking about the announcement, newly appointed Finnplay Technologies managing director Jaakko Soininen outlined the company did not think twice at the opportunity to form a strong partnership with the operator behind a well-established casino brand in the country. He explained, “This is a very exciting opportunity for Finnplay, and a strong new partnership for the Dutch market. Between JH-Group’s experience as a successful operator in the Netherlands and Finnplay’s technical and compliance expertise in online gaming, this is sure to be a very successful venture.”

An operator of 38 brick-and-mortar Fair Play Casino establishments in the Netherlands, Janshen-Hahnraths Group already teamed with Evolution to launch in the newly regulated online gaming market in the country effective October 1, 2021.

The group, which has been actively preparing for the opening of the Dutch regulated online gambling market for the past few years, was among the first 10 operators to receive a license from the national gambling regulator Kansspelatoriteit (KSA). “We were very pleased to be one of only 10 companies awarded the Dutch B2C license,” added Björn Fuchs, Chief Digital Officer, Janshen-Hahnraths Group. “We selected Finnplay because of their excellent track record supporting top-tier operators in Europe’s regulated markets. Besides Janshen-Hahnraths Group, the KSA awarded operating licenses to Toto Online, Holland Casino, GGPoker, bet365, bingo operator Tombola, Estonia’s Play North, LiveScore Malta, Italy’s Betent and Belgian brand Bingoal.
