EveryMatrix to Move Bucharest Development Hub to New Building
Provider of online casino gaming technology, content, and services EveryMatrix revealed today a new agreement with STRABAG Real Estate that will expand its development hub in Bucharest.
Construction of New Modern Offices Underway
Located in the center of the Romanian capital at University Square, the new high-tech building will be developed by STRABAG Real Estate and will provide 7,500 square meters of office space to accommodate EveryMatrix’s 350 employees as soon as it is complete. Construction work on the building is already underway with the delivery date set for 2023.
EveryMatrix Group CEO Ebbe Groes was delighted to announce the news of the new building construction, outlining that it “is environmentally-friendly and will bring many exciting facilities to our employees.”
The new hub will provide the team with the best working environment and experience, offering many facilities, including an in-house gym, a pool, an exterior garden in the back yard, green spaces, a diner and a coffee shop, ground floor retail services, as well as relaxation rooms on each floor.
“We are one of Romania’s major players in software provision, attracting and retaining hundreds of highly skilled IT specialists over the years. With this new building, we are consolidating our position in the tech market, and we are looking forward to continuing to employ talent here and expand our operations.”
Ebbe Groes, Group CEO, EveryMatrix
EveryMatrix established its Bucharest office in 2004 and the company’s development team has been growing ever since, attracting the best of regional IT talent, and the investment in the new building shows the company’s intentions to continue growing its largest development hub.
LEED V4 Gold Green Certification
Relying on sustainable practices and with a minimized impact on the environment and human health, STRABAG Real Estate’s values perfectly align with EveryMatrix’s vision of a modern office building. Designed to achieve LEED V4 Gold green certification, the new building will be built using only environment-friendly materials and will utilize construction methods that are not harmful to the climate.
Recognizing the “remarkable synergy” the new building will bring to the central city location and the neighborhood, STRABAG Real Estate Romania area manager Monica Barcutean hailed the “strong trustful business relationship” developed with EveryMatrix.
“We are looking to bring a new level of office development to the area, providing a sustainable new-generation office building and creating an attractive working environment for EveryMatrix and its growing team.”
Monica Barcutean, Area Manager, STRABAG Real Estate Romania
On behalf of SVN Romania, the real estate consultant firm which brokered the transaction and assisted both parties, Catalin Stan, Office Division associate director, outlined the benefits for the local office market derived from the transaction, “both because of the surface leased” and the “pre-release 18 months prior to the delivery of the projects.”
“It denotes confidence in the market´s evolution and a long-term commitment from both companies,” Stan concluded.
