Delaware North Appoints Industry Powerhouse Jason Gregorec as Gaming Division President
Thanks to his diverse track record, the appointee was the obvious choice for president of Delaware North’s gaming division
Delaware North, an American multinational gaming and hospitality company, has appointed an experienced industry veteran as its new gaming president. The seasoned professional, in this case, is Jason Gregorec, a former Caesars and Eldorado leader.
Gregorec Will Head the Gaming Division
Gregorec, who boasts some three decades in the gambling sector, is set to lead Delaware North’s gaming division as its new president, overseeing its growing portfolio of casinos, sports betting and iGaming offerings.
In his new role, Gregorec will replace the outgoing gaming division president Brian Hansberry. The latter was transferred to the role of group president of gaming and tasked with the gaming division’s overall strategy and corporate partnership.
Gregorec, on the other hand, will be responsible for the division’s gaming portfolio and operations. As its president, he will be tasked with diversifying the revenue streams and bolstering the overall business through innovation and tech advancements.
In short, Gregorec will target sustainable profitability and business opportunities that would allow Delaware North to remain ahead of the curve.
As mentioned, Gregorec formerly served the likes of Caesars Entertainment and Eldorado Resorts. Prior to joining Delaware North, the hire spent four years as SVP and general manager at Caesars, preceded by a two-year stint as VP and general manager at Eldorado Resorts. He previously worked as CEO and general manager of Rock Gaming and spent years in managerial roles at various casinos.
Gregorec’s Experience Made Him a Perfect Fit for Delaware North
A graduate of the New York Institute of Technology and Indiana Wesleyan University and the Institute for Executive Development, Gregorec also boasts military experience from the 8 years he spent in the US Army Reserves.
With such a diverse track record, the appointee was the obvious choice for president of Delaware North’s gaming division. Amy Latimer, chief operating officer and executive vice president of the company, welcomed Gregorec on board, calling him a “great addition” to the team.
Jason will work closely with Brian Hansberry but also allow Brian to leverage his 40 years of senior-level leadership in the gaming industry to seek new opportunities for growth in the gaming sector.
Amy Latimer, COO & EVP, Delaware North
Delaware North, for context, operates several US casinos, card rooms and route gaming businesses and a single casino in Australia. The company also offers mobile betting in four states and iGaming in a single state.
