David Hammond Steps in as UK Tote Group CCO
- OK Tote Group has taped a due of new Chief Commercial Officers who will serve as the new CCOs in the United Kingdom and International markets
The Group is appointing David Hammond as CCO for the United Kingdom whereas Jon Knapman will step in as CCO for the company’s global markets. The new appointments will strengthen the company’s operational capabilities and bring a pair of well-versed industry veterans, capable of scaling the Group’s domestic and international reach.
Hammond Ready to Help UK Business Expand and Grow
Hammond is a noteworthy addition as he is an industry veteran spanning many positions in the industry, including roles with Paddy Power Betfair, Inspired Entertainment, SBTech, and DraftKings. Hammond is similarly well-versed in the racing industry, as he has been following the vertical keenly, and will now further hone his knowledge thereof as part of UK Tote Group.
Tote Group has been in the meantime expanding in South Africa, Hong Kong, and the United States, with the business now seeking to tap additional talent to help it with that in the face of Knapman. Alex Frost, Chief Executive of UK Tote, has welcomed the appointment of Hammond and said:

Hammond confirmed that the has been watching Tote with interest over the past years and that the opportunity to finally join was welcomed. He would now be looking to support the Group’s next growth cycle.
