Circa Sports Becomes the Kansas City Royals’ New Partner

Sports bettors and Royals fans can look forward to various betting promotions, as well as a variety of exciting activations with the fan in mind

Circa Sports, a Las Vegas-based sports betting company, has penned a new partnership with the Kansas City Royals, a Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise. The agreement will see the two parties join forces to unleash a plethora of engaging experiences for fans of the MLB team.

A Royal Partnership

According to the announcement, the partnership will officially go live later this week. As the Royals’ betting partner, Circa will effectively replace Underdog, which joined forces with the MLB franchise a few months ago. However, Underdog eventually decided against operating sports betting in Missouri, the Royals’ home state, forcing them to find another partner. Underdog then proceeded to bring its US sports betting operations to a halt.

While partnering with a local team is one of the gateways to securing a local sports betting license in the Show-Me State, Circa already boasts one of the state’s two standalone licenses.

Under the deal with the Kansas City Royals, Circa Sports will incorporate a variety of themed experiences for the team’s passionate fans. Bettors can therefore look forward to a variety of activations and VIP experiences, both on-stadium and across Circa’s digital platforms.

The partnership will officially kick off on Friday, just in time for the Royals Rally Casino Night at the stadium, and will feature Circa as the presenting sponsor of the event. Visitors will be able to join a raffle for a shot at one of ten two-night midweek packages at Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

In addition to that, sports bettors and Royals fans can look forward to various betting promotions, as well as a variety of exciting activations with the fan in mind.

Bringing Fans Closer to the Sport

Representatives were pleased with the agreement, which will bring fans of the MLB and the Kansas City Royals, in particular, closer to the sport. According to Circa Sports’ chief executive officer, Derek Stevens, this deal is all about creating premium experiences around the game and “giving Royals fans access, energy and a level of engagement that feels authentic to how they follow baseball.”

Cullen Maxey, president of business operations for the Kansas City Royals, added that the partnership has been designed to offer passionate fans of the team more ways to connect with their favorite players and the game.

From special events at Kauffman Stadium to unique experiences beyond the ballpark, we’re excited to work with Circa to bring new ways for fans to connect with the Royals.
