Carnival Corporation Becomes Member of AGA
As gambling is more firmly embedded onboard cruise ships than ever, Carnival Corporation has joined the biggest US trade organization promoting the sector’s interests

Carnival Corporation has become the latest member to join the American Gaming Association (AGA), a trade group committed to protecting the interests of the gambling industry and advancing best practices.
AGA Welcomes Its First Cruise Company as Member
In a press statement released on Thursday, Carnival Corporation confirmed that it has become the first cruise company to also be a member of AGA. The company will contribute to the association’s efforts in responsible gambling and anti-money laundering.
Carnival Corporation had this to say on the occasion of confirming the partnership publicly: “Joining the American Gaming Association is an important step in advancing our industry leadership and ensuring we remain at the forefront of responsible gaming and regulatory best practices.”
The words belong to Carnival Corporation SVP of global gaming Marty Goldman, who also added: “This partnership opens new avenues for collaboration and knowledge-sharing that will directly benefit our guests, team members, and the broader Carnival Corporation organization.”
Carnival Corporation will have the opportunity to collaborate with various members who are already part of the AGA, setting up partnerships with both land-based and online operators.
Carnival Corporation to Access AGA’s Library of Resources
The company will also gain access to educational webinars, legislative updates, network and collaboration opportunities, advocacy and policy support, and much more.
As to the AGA, the association welcomed its latest member and said that the organization was thrilled. “As a global leader in leisure travel and entertainment, they not only bring a unique perspective to our membership but also deepen our network through longstanding partnerships with several existing AGA members,” AGA VP of membership and events Maureen Beddis said.
“Their commitment to delivering world-class gaming experiences at sea complements our efforts to promote innovation, collaboration, and responsible gaming across the industry. We look forward to working together to strengthen our collective impact,” he wrapped up.
