BetMGM Enters WNBA Thanks to a Collaboration with Las Vegas Aces

The partnership was announced on Tuesday during The Just One Project, a cornerstone nonprofit committed to increasing access to food, resources, and supportive services in Southwest Nevada

Leading sports betting and gaming entertainment company BetMGM announced a multi-year partnership with the Las Vegas Aces, marking the operator’s first significant collaboration with a professional women’s sports team.

BetMGM and the Las Vegas Aces Reveal Partnership

The partnership extends through the 2027 season and highlights include prominent signage at Michelob ULTRA Arena, located in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, as well as sponsorship across the Las Vegas Aces’ social media channels. BetMGM players will also benefit from exclusive perks such as courtside access to pre-game shootarounds and premium VIP seating.

Additionally, BetMGM will serve as an authorized gaming partner of the WNBA through 2027. As part of the deal, the company will receive advertising placements during nationally televised games, WNBA tickets and experiences for VIP members, rights to co-branded digital content, and features on wnba.com/WNBABet. BetMGM also plans to launch the first-ever WNBA-themed online slot game, which will be available exclusively on its platform in jurisdictions where iGaming is permitted.

The partnership was announced on Tuesday during The Just One Project, a cornerstone nonprofit committed to increasing access to food, resources, and supportive services in Southwest Nevada. Aces President Nikki Fargas and BetMGM Director of Team & League Partnerships Molly Wurdack-Folt led the event, unveiling the “BetMGM Steals for Meals” initiative. Through this program, BetMGM will donate $50 to The Just One Project for every steal made by the Aces at Michelob ULTRA Arena, helping to provide meals to families facing food insecurity.

This is actually not the first major project that BetMGM has revealed this week. Earlier, the company announced its Missouri entry by signing a deal with Century Casinos, a Colorado-based casino entertainment company.

Officials Talk About the Deal

Back to the collaboration between the Aces and BetMGM, the latter’s CEO, Adam Greenblatt, said that BetMGM could not have two better organizations to partner with than the WNBA and the Aces. Meanwhile, Lance Evans, Senior Vice President of Sports and Sponsorships at MGM Resorts International, noted that since 2018, the Las Vegas Aces have been instrumental in establishing Las Vegas as a premier global sports and entertainment destination. He added that, in partnership with BetMGM, MGM Resorts looks forward to hosting gameday events at Mandalay Bay and other properties, providing opportunities for both local and visiting fans to engage with their favorite basketball teams.

Meanwhile, Fargas talked about The Just One Project and the importance of the support BetMGM will provide to the initiative. He explained that since Aces have been one of the best defenses in the league the past few seasons, and knowing that every steal will support families in need, adds extra motivation for the team to step up defensively and shut down their opponents.

Lance Evans, SVP sports and sponsorships, MGM Resorts International, also added that the Las Vegas Aces have played a pivotal role in the city’s growth as a global sports and entertainment destination. For this reason, BetMGM is looking forward to hosting gameday events at Mandalay Bay, as well as the company’s other properties, which would allow local and visiting fans to interact with their favorite basketball teams.
