Betano & FC Bayern Munich Celebrate Partnership with New Campaign

FC Bayern Munich and its betting partner Betano have launched a new TV marketing campaign that highlights the rise of an aspiring player. Featuring legendary former players, the campaign seeks to showcase the history of the club and highlight Betano’s commitment to supporting professional sports.

“Genau So” Shows What FC Bayern Is All About

The new campaign is called “Genau So,” which translates to “Just Like That” and will air across TV channels in Germany. The short movie follows the journey of an aspiring young soccer player wearing FC Bayern’s training kit as the main character who pursues his goals, while reliving some of the club’s best-known moments and stories.

The new advert pairs live action with animation to deliver a punchy and evocative impression on viewers. It stars former FC Bayern Munich legends, such as Stefan Effenberg and Raimond Aumann, whom longtime soccer fans will recognize immediately.

The new campaign comes several months after Betano penned a major deal with the club and became its Official Sponsor.  

The Campaign Sought to Bring Out the Soul of FC Bayern

Representatives commented on the latest activation, expressing excitement about the launch of the new advert. Pablo Puertas, the marketing director of Betano’s parent company, Kaizen Gaming, was very pleased with Stefan Effenberg and Raimond Aumann’s cameo, saying that the legends’ presence creates a bridge between the club’s past and future.

Puertas added that the latest campaign shows that Betano wishes to be more than just a sponsor by becoming a core part of the fan journey.

The new campaign is the result of the hard work of the Another Circus marketing agency. Its creative director, Leonidas Arvanitis, explained that his team sought to highlight what being a part of this influential club really means. They concluded that featuring the rich history, countless victories, and former professionals who shaped the club as it is today was the way to go.

However, Arvanitis noted that the most important part of the campaign was to highlight the incredibly hard work every FC Bayern athlete has to put in every day.

In other news, Betano recently penned additional high-profile agreements. Among other things, the betting brand replaced Pixbet as the master partner of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, a Brazilian multi-sport club.

Earlier, the sports betting powerhouse joined Denmark’s 3F Superliga as its official betting partner.
