BC.GAME Esports, the competitive gaming arm of BC.GAME, a crypto-native entertainment platform, has announced the signing of legendary player Denis “electroNic” Sharipov to its Counter-Strike 2 team. The new acquisition means electroNic will be reunited with another modern legend in CS esports, Oleksandr s1mple” Kostyliev. Both spent nearly six years playing together on Natus Vincere, from 2017-2023, winning various titles at events such as PGL Major Stockholm, IEM Katowice 2020, and many others.

ElectroNic Reunites With S1mple In BC.GAME Esports’ CS2 Team

In this new setting, electronic will take on the role of a key rifler while also playing an active part in the team’s wider content initiatives, engaging in match analysis, behind-the-scenes features, livestreams, and regional fan events. BC.GAME Esports has also revealed that another major player signing is in progress, aimed at further bolstering the team’s competitive roster.

The news comes just weeks after BC.GAME secured a partnership with the Deccan Gladiators. As a result of the deal, the BC.GAME News logo and branding will be prominently featured on the front of the Gladiators’ official match jersey, ensuring strong visibility among cricket fans.

Back to electroNic, now free from the pressures of leadership, he’ll look to regain his form with BC.GAME following a difficult stint at Virtus.pro, where he posted a disappointing 0.96 rating. He now reunites with s1mple, who has recovered his top form since joining BC.GAME after a lengthy hiatus. Previously, the three-time Player of the Year has scored an impressive 1.31 rating across 53 maps, all played in online matches.

BC.GAME Invests Further Into Esports

Found in 2024, BC.GAME Esports combines elite-level CS2 competition with blockchain-driven community interaction and digital content production. Operating in regulated markets, BC.GAME views esports as a strategic, long-term investment and a natural extension of its broader entertainment ecosystem. The organization sees its entry into esports as a way to engage a younger, more digitally connected global audience.

Unlike traditional sports, esports content is inherently digital, making it easier to distribute through livestreams, short-form video platforms, and bilingual formats. It also provides greater flexibility and accessibility when connecting with players, creators, and fans worldwide. While traditional sports rely heavily on rigid media rights structures, esports empowers brands to play a more hands-on role in content creation and community engagement, prompting the company to further invest in this new field of sports and entertainment.
