Lamar Jackson to Lead the Baltimore Ravens to Glory
The Baltimore Ravens enter 2025 as a serious AFC contender, powered by Lamar Jackson’s dual-threat ability. Baltimore’s quarterback is hoping he can pick up where he left off last season, which was one of the best in his career. We saw him record his career high in passing, as well as become the all-time leader in QB rushing yards.

Their biggest problem in 2024 was inconsistency in the passing attack, which cost them key games late in the season. Jackson’s connection with tight end Mark Andrews worked well last year, and we suspect the same might be the case in 2025. Plus, the Ravens have strengthened their WR position with the signing of DeAndre Hopkins and the extension of Rashod Bateman’s contract.
When it comes to running the ball, the Ravens have more weapons than just the QB. They have Derrick Henry in the running back position, who’s one of the greatest runners of his generation.
Their defense also looks incredible. It was superb last season, and we predict they might do even better in 2025. We think Kyle Hamilton will shine, a safety who recently received a $100 million contract extension.
What to Expect from the Bills?
The Buffalo Bills head into 2025 with Josh Allen still as their heartbeat, combining elite arm strength with bruising runs that make him one of the hardest quarterbacks to game plan against.
Their strongest offensive weapon in 2025 could be the Allen–Dalton Kincaid connection, although we’re not sure whether they can cope against Baltimore’s defense.
When it comes to their biggest weakness, we predict it’s going to be turnovers once again. Allen is known for throwing costly interceptions in big games, and that could be a major problem against a team like the Ravens.
Defensively, the Bills are good, but the question is whether they’re good enough to contain Lamar Jackson. We think they’ll try to pull it off by setting the edge and forcing him to win from the pocket. Whether this will work, we’re not sure.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills Prediction
The Bills are famously good when playing on home turf, with four wins in their last five duels with the Ravens at Highmark Stadium. However, in 2025, we think that the boys from Baltimore are the better team. We think their defense can stop Josh Allen & Co., while their offense should run riot on the Bills’ defense. As a result, we think they’ll win this by at least a touchdown difference.
Pick: Baltimore Ravens
