888AFRICA Picks Sportingtech to Drive African Expansion

888AFRICA is ready to take on the region by appointing Sportingtech as the company’s full-service betting and gaming platform provider. This will assist the operator is expanding its footprint in Africa, with an anticipated rollout in numerous markets.
Sportingtech to Power 888Africa’s Offers
888AFRICA is a joint venture led by 888 Holdings plc and joined by five other industry veterans who decided to assist with the company’s forays in Africa. Under the 888AFRICA roof, there are a number of established professionals, including former The Stars Group CMO Christopher Coyne and his colleagues Andrew Lee and Ian Marmion.
They are joined by other distinguished veterans such as former Editec Online CPO Alex Rutherford and former Premier Bet CFO Helen Scott-Allen. 888AFRICA is confident that Sportingtech will assist it to grow its market footprint as the platform already covers 65 sports and 9,0000 games, along with 1,000 available betting markets.
Commenting on this partnership, Sportingtech chief sales officer Colin McDonagh said that 888 is a huge global operator with a proven reputation and brand. McDonagh confirmed that Sportingtech was pleased to be helping 888AFRICA reshape the betting and gaming landscape in the country and said that Sportingtech was happy to assist.

888AFRICA will have access to Sportingtech’s Quantum platform that will enable it to power both a sports betting and iGaming product available to locals as the operator launches in each individual market. 888AFRIA has also been making a strong hiring push, bringing Ryan Newton as lead for VIP segment and Sorin Nichita as VP of performance marketing.
