When, Where, and How to Watch?

  • Place: Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada
  • Date: Saturday, May 10, 2025
  • Time: 10:00 p.m. ET
  • How to Watch: PPV

One of Valentina Shevchenko’s Biggest Fights Ever

Valentina Shevchenko is 37 years old, with one loss and one draw in her last three fights. The last time she fought, though, she won her title back by beating Alexa Grasso by unanimous decision. It was a well-deserved victory, but winning wasn’t easy – the war with Alexa lasted for 25 minutes.

Valentina did great wrestling-wise in that fight, landing eight takedowns – the highest in her UFC career. She also landed almost three times more significant strikes than her Mexican opponent.

But now, she’s supposed to fight against someone who’s way, way more dangerous when striking is concerned than her last opponent. Valentina is good against such fighters, but is she good enough to stop a girl who landed 172 significant strikes in her last fight?

Manon Fiorot is Going for the Crown

Manon Fiorot is 12-1 overall with her only loss happening by decision. This happened on her professional MMA debut in 2018 when Leah McCourt beat her by a split decision at Cage Warriors 94.

Since then, the Frenchwoman is 12-0 with 50% of her wins happening by KO/TKO and the other 50% by decision. Obviously, she’s a hell of a striker, which is something Erin Blanchfield saw first-hand a year ago when Fiorot landed 172 strikes. That’s 74 more strikes than Valentina Shevchenko’s highest-ever number.

Fiorot is also a fine wrestler, who’s got a takedown defense of 93%, so Valentina probably won’t be able to ragdoll her like she did with Grasso.

Valentina Shevchenko vs. Manon Fiorot Prediction

We think this is going to be a very close fight that could see one of them win by a split decision. But who’s more likely to win? We agree with oddsmakers on this one. Fiorot should be the betting favorite as she looked incredible in the last couple of fights. We think she will beat Valentina up, landing enough strikes to win over the judges.

Pick: Manon Fiorot
