UAE Lottery Hits Milestone as It Announces AED 100M Grand Prize Winner

The UAE has declared that during the latest Lucky Day draw, someone won the AED 100 million ($27.23 million) grand prize.

The one-in-eight-million chance draw, which happened on October 18, has marked a milestone for the UAE lottery and has become the single biggest lottery jackpot in the country.

The winner, having beaten the odds of 1 in 8,835,372, had managed to get all numbers in the Days’ set as well as the number in the Months’ set, which got them the first-ever 6+1 Jackpot.

Since the draw, the UAE Lottery has issued this statement:

“It’s official, The UAE Lottery’s first Dh100 million Grand Prize has been won, and verification is now underway!”

Before announcing the identity of the Grand Prize winner and giving them the money, the UAE Lottery has stated that they have begun doing its due diligence.

The statement has expanded on this by saying that the lottery is in the process of fully verifying everything as per their own standard procedures, as well as making sure that all General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) compliance requirements have been met.

The UAE Lottery has also stated the security checks:

The UAE Lottery had its first draw in 2024 on December 14, almost a year ago.

Only residents of the UAE have the right to participate in the draws and claim any rewards they win in the Lucky Day draw.

The Lucky Day draw, held every two weeks on Saturday at 8:30 UAE time, has, according to UAE Lottery, had over 100,000 winning players.

To enter the draw, a person has to pay Dh50 and pick 7 numbers.

Winners of prizes over AED 100,000 have to personally claim their rewards, after notifying the Lottery through their support email, in accordance with UAE Lottery’s policies.
