Two More Routes Added in Las Vegas by Low-Budget Airline
Despite an ongoing uneasiness between US and Canadian residents, one airline is trying to capitalize on domestic travel by adding two more routes

Las Vegas and Nevada are welcoming fewer Canadians in the summer season of 2025, mostly because of the unchecked policy of President Donald Trump, who has lambasted the country’s northern neighbor in public statements, but also slammed the Canadian economy with across-the-board tariffs.
Airlines Go Domestic with Diminishing Numbers of Canadian Fliers
This has led to a noticeable decline in footfall from Canada and even stirred doom-mongers who predicted thousands of jobs lost across the board. Now, Breeze Airways is doubling down on domestic travel with the low-budget airline featuring two new routes from the Harry Reid International Airport – one to Provo, Utah, and one to Redmond, Oregon.
Both will roll out in March 2026. The pricing has been adjusted to tempt potential travelers with the Provo route costing $39 at a minimum, and Redmond costing $49. Promotional prices are also going to be available for flights through May 13, and they will be part of the temporary initial marketing push by the airline.
Breeze Airways chief commercial officer Lukas Johnson has welcomed the opportunity to bring back a popular route – Provo, and add a brand-new one – Redmond.
“We’ve grown Las Vegas service in the last couple of years. It’s usually a pretty fantastic airport in terms of service,” he explained.
Breeze Airways is replacing Avelo Airlines, a rival, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company will be running flights through August 11, 2025, when it will stop operating between Redmond and Sin City.
