Tour Bus Going to a MI Casino Crashes, Hurting Dozens of People

A bus traveling to a tribal casino in Michigan has crashed, leaving many people injured. Luckily, there have been no reported fatalities, but two people might be critically injured, according to reports.

The Bus Crashed on the Way to Harris

A bus connecting Chicago to a casino in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan has crashed, leaving dozens injured. The crash occurred in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on March 22.

For context, the bus in question was heading toward the Island Resort & Casino in Harris. The charter’s route has been designed to pass several other gaming locations on the way there.

The Green Bay Police Department and Green Bay Metro Fire Department were immediately sent to the site of the incident. They saw that the charter bus had gone over an embankment, leaving many passengers hurt.

For context, the bus carried a total of 54 people, 33 of whom received mostly minor injuries. Unfortunately, reports say that the condition of two people could be more serious than that.

In any case, hurt passengers were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Others were taken to a reunification center in Green Bay.

The police said that further investigation will determine what charges could potentially be levied against the bus driver.

Man Crashed Car While Gambling, Hurting Several People

Speaking of crashes, a UK man recently crashed his car due to the fact he was gambling on his phone while driving. The man’s car ended up colliding with another vehicle, hurting the other driver, a pregnant woman, two children and a dog.

The culprit was eventually sentenced to prison. He will serve 28 months in prison at Derby Crown Court, as well as a 38-month driving ban.
