The win made their fans think good days were ahead, but they then went to Newcastle in the following round and lost 2:1. Their only goal in that game was an own goal by one of Newcastle’s players.

On the bright side for Tottenham, they were the team that had the ball in possession for most of the time. In fact, they had 66% ball possession and created 20 goal attempts. Unfortunately, none of those came to fruition. Will they do better this time around?

Because of the blunder in the Brighton game, Rice will have to sit out the North London Derby on September 15. The bad news is that he’s not the only key player who will miss this game. Arsenal’s captain Martin Odegaard is reportedly struggling with an injury, the same as Jurrien Timber, Riccardo Calafiori, and several others.

Without those guys, Arsenal could struggle. This goes especially as they’re playing away from their turf. They did win their last two North London Derbies on the road, but before that, they failed to beat Tottenham in away games for eight games in all competitions.
