The STRAT Las Vegas Adds More Player-Friendly Games
Skylar Dice commented on the changes, saying that they reflect The STRAT’s ongoing focus on guest satisfaction

The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower, an iconic gaming venue in Las Vegas, has decided to expand its lineup of player-friendly games in an attempt to channel more gamblers toward the property. Visitors can look forward to better payouts across a variety of gaming tables.
The STRAT Goes Player-Friendly
As reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the property’s senior vice president and general manager, Skylar Dice, said that The STRAT has increased its number of 3:2 blackjack tables on its main casino floor.
For reference, 3:2 games provide players with $3 for every $2 wager when they get a blackjack. On the other hand, at 6:5 tables, which are more common in Sin City at the moment, players win $6 for every $5 they have wagered. Although 3:2 doesn’t sound that much better on paper, it can make a significant difference in higher-stakes games.
However, better blackjack payouts are not the only thing visitors can look forward to. In addition to that, The STRAT, previously introduced several single-zero roulette tables, which is much more favorable to the players.
To top it all off, The STRAT, which coined crapless craps, is also the only property on Las Vegas Boulevard to offer 10 times odds at its tables.
Guest Satisfaction Is a Priority for Golden Entertainment
Dice commented on the changes, saying that they reflect The STRAT’s ongoing focus on guest satisfaction. He said that the property’s loyal guests have demanded more player-friendly tables and the operator listened.
Unlike Palms Casino, which ditched 6:5 tables, The STRAT is not completely doing away with 6:5 blackjack or double-zero roulette. Instead, Dice said that the property will offer a little bit of everything.
He concluded that the changes really fit into the identity of The STRAT’s parent company, Golden Entertainment. He concluded:
“People are coming here to have a good time. It’s supposed to be fun, and we want to position the STRAT as a place where gamers go to game.”
