Texas Lottery Scratchers Award Several Seven-Figure Jackpots
The winners included players from Rio Grande City, San Benito, and Baytown
The Texas Lottery revealed several winners of seven-figure sums from its scratch-off games. The most recent set of lucky players included two recipients of $1 million sums, as well as one winner of a $3 million prize.
Rio Grande City Player Won $1M
In its announcements, the Texas Lottery listed a Rio Grande City resident as its most recent big winner. The player just claimed a top prize-winning ticket worth $1 million in the lottery’s Million Dollar Loteria scratch-off game.
The winner, however, opted to remain anonymous.
Lottery officials added that the player in question purchased from H-E-B Food Store #427, located at 735 S.W. Military Drive, in San Antonio.
For context, $1 million is the top prize Million Dollar Loteria players can win. As of the time of the lottery’s announcement, there were six more top prizes left to be claimed.
San Benito Winner Took Home $1M
A few days earlier, a San Benito resident claimed a similar prize but from a different game. The San Benito winner reportedly won their top prize from the Texas Lottery’s Instant Millions scratch-off game.
Just like the Rio Grande City winner, this one also chose to remain anonymous.
Despite that, lottery officials revealed a few details about the win, including the fact that the winning ticket was sold at Stooky Mart, located at 1608 E. Business 77, in San Benito.
Additionally, it turned out that this was the first top prize from Instant Millions to land. As of the time of the lottery’s announcement, there were three more top prizes of $1 million remaining.
Baytown Resident Scooped Up $3M
Earlier this month, a Baytown resident claimed a top prize of $3 million in the Texas Lottery’s 30X Supreme scratch-off game. Just like the aforementioned winners, the claimant elected to remain anonymous.
According to the Texas Lottery, the winning ticket was sold at Time Maxx #6, located at 6199 Decker Drive, in Baytown.
Lottery officials also noted that this was the third top prize to land and that there was only one $3 million prize remaining.
