Starcasino Strengthens Commitment to Safer Betting with IBIA Signage
IBIA has expanded its global sports betting monitoring capabilities with the addition of a prominent and trusted partner
Starcasino has become the latest prominent operator to join the International Betting and Integrity Association, IBIA, in a bid to double down on its commitment to responsible play and help keep sports free of manipulation.
Starcasino Becomes Member of The World’s Most Trusted Monitoring Network
The brand joins Altenar, its sportsbook provider, which is also a member of IBIA, and together they demonstrate an unwavering commitment to helping keep athletic competitions free of manipulation. Although Starcasino is also an iGaming and casino brand, the company similarly runs a comprehensive sports betting platform.
The operator is established in both Belgium and Spain, and it is joining a global network of similarly-minded operators that have vowed to help bolster transparency in the sport and ensure that any suspicious betting events are flagged.
Commenting on this achievement, Starcasino director for the Netherlands, Kylian Olierook, said that the company was glad to be joining the IBIA’s mission in ensuring that sports betting remains fair and honest.
“Together with our sportsbook partner Altenar, we want to help protect sports from manipulation and ensure a safe experience for our players. By working with IBIA, we take an active role in monitoring and reporting suspicious betting activity,” Olierook added.
IBIA Secures World-beating Partnerships with Established Companies
IBIA CEO Khalid Ali was similarly pleased with the latest member and said that the addition strengthened the global monitoring network that the association is looking to build.
“Membership of IBIA highlights Starcasino’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency in the regulated sports betting industry. We look forward to working closely with Starcasino to protect the integrity of its products and markets,” Ali wrapped up.
IBIA has been keeping a close watch on global suspicious events and has actively expanded its network of partners. Among the companies to feature as members of the associations are Bally’s and Genius Sports.
