Online gaming and crypto betting giant Stake has unveiled a historic safer gambling deal with BetBlocker, a non-profit developer of anonymous responsible gambling software. In line with the operator’s ambition to protect players from harm, the deal will see Stake promote BetBlocker’s tools.
For context, BetBlocker offers free software that players can install on their devices to manage their online gambling activity. The app’s capabilities allow users to block access to thousands of gambling websites and apps.
The BetBlocker app also boasts a calendar feature that allows players to block themselves from gambling on specific dates and for as long as they wish. This can help vulnerable players mitigate the dangers associated with certain high-traffic sporting events or provide themselves with a cool-off period.
BetBlocker boasts unparalleled flexibility, allowing players to block gambling websites for periods ranging from a few days to multiple years.
As agreed, Stake will promote BetBlocker’s software on its platform, advising players to get back in control of their own habits and gamble responsibly. Stake, which seeks to foster an informed community, aims to teach players how to enjoy gambling without excessive spending. The operator’s overall strategy is to provide fans with all of the entertainment with none of the risk.

Stake reaffirmed its desire to keep gambling “fun, safe and entertaining.” A company spokesperson commented on the new deal with BetBlocker, saying that it reflects Stake’s pride in delivering an “entertaining and customer-centric experience while acknowledging the importance of responsible gambling.”
