Stake Launches Fast-Fold Poker Game with $1M Giveaway

Stake has launched a fast-fold online poker format where players jump to a new table after folding, celebrating with $1 million in Cash Drops prizes

Crypto casino platform Stake has rolled out a new online poker format called Next!, and it’s launching the game with a major promotion. To mark the debut, the company is offering $1 million in prizes through a series of giveaways.

Nonstop Table Movement

The new poker variant became available earlier this month on both Stake’s US sweepstakes platform and its global online casino site. As part of the launch, players on both platforms can take part in what Stake calls “$1M Cash Drops giveaways.”

Next! is built around speed, and the concept should feel familiar to many experienced online poker players because of the way it follows the popular fast-fold style of play.

In this format, players do not have to wait for the rest of the table to finish a hand if they decide to fold. Instead, they are immediately placed at another table with a new hand ready to play.

As described in reports, players “are instantly moved to a new table as soon as they fold their hand.”

The idea is to keep the action moving and allow players to get through far more hands in a shorter amount of time compared to traditional online poker games.

Cash and Tournament Play Available

Stake has made the format available in both cash games and tournament play, giving players different ways to try it out.

To attract attention to the launch, the platform is running its Cash Drops promotion, which distributes prize money randomly at active Next! tables. The rewards are tied to the volume of hands being played.

According to industry reports, every time a table is selected during the promotion, three to 10 big blinds will be added directly to the pot, giving players at that table a chance to compete for the extra money.

The current promotion is focused on smaller buy-ins so more players can participate. During March, the Next! The schedule includes micro-stakes cash games and small tournament buy-ins, capped at SC50 for cash games and SC20 for tournaments using Stake Cash.

However, that may not stay the case for long, as some reports hint that the platform could expand into higher-stakes games if the format proves popular with players.
