Solaire Resort Launches Recruitment Drive for Online Gaming Expansion
Philippines’ Solaire Resort & Casino plans to enhance its online gaming presence by hiring for key positions to support the launch of a new iGaming app

Solaire Resort & Casino, a leading luxury gaming destination in the Philippines, is set to strengthen its presence in the online gaming market by hiring for crucial positions.
Key Positions Open at Solaire as New App Development Begins
A recent post on LinkedIn showed a bunch of job openings aiming to create a team focused on online gaming. People can now apply for jobs like Online Gaming Director, Director for Retention Marketing, Head of Online Casino and Bingo, Online Gaming Host, and Technical Support Representative.
This hiring push is a key part of Solaire‘s plan to grow in online gaming. The company, backed by billionaire Enrique Razon, plans to launch a gaming app online by the third quarter of 2025. Right now, Solaire’s online games link to its real-world casino through a Philippine Inland Gaming Operator (PIGO) license. However, the new platform will run on its own under a different name. This step aims to reach new customers going beyond the people who already visit Solaire’s physical casinos.
Solaire’s online gaming services right now serve players at home. They offer live slot games, live table games, and e-games. The new app the company is planning to launch will offer more options, giving users a fuller digital experience.
To build this platform, Solaire has teamed up with Gaming Innovation Group, a big B2B technology company in the iGaming world. The resort has also started talking to major e-wallet platforms like Maya and GCash to make payments easy. Maya is more or less on board, but GCash has yet to finalize its involvement.
Record Growth in Philippine Gaming Revenue as E-Gaming Fuels a $6B Boom in 2024
Solaire’s move comes at a time when the Philippine gambling industry is set to reach a record $6 billion in gross gaming revenue (GGR) in 2024 beating early estimates. Alejandro Tengco, who heads the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), pointed out this growth. He said the boom in e-gaming played a big part, with a huge 464% jump from the previous year in the third quarter of 2024.
While things look good big changes are happening in the industry. The government wants to get rid of Philippine offshore gambling operators (POGOs) by year’s end. This crackdown comes after growing concerns about POGOs being involved in financial crimes and worse things like kidnappings and human trafficking.
As offshore operators shrink, gaming in the Philippines keeps growing pushed by new technology and more people wanting to play. Tengco feels good about the gambling market’s continued growth, showing it is bouncing back strong and keeping up its positive direction after COVID-19 shook things up.
