The official rollout of the groundbreaking slot game will happen across seven Station Casinos properties throughout the Las Vegas Valley. To mark the release of the game, Station Casinos and Competition Interactive will partner on exclusive social media campaigns, influencer activations, and on-site events throughout the summer.

Running Rich GRAND PRIX‘s initial installations have been finished at Santa Fe Station and Palace Station. Meanwhile, the remaining locations, Red Rock Resort, Green Valley Ranch, Sunset Station, Boulder Station, and Durango Casino, are scheduled to receive the game in a phased rollout over the summer.

In a recent official press release, Keith Winters, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Competition Interactive, expressed pride in introducing Running Rich GRAND PRIX to the Station Casinos family. He stated that this launch represents a significant milestone in the company’s mission to redefine the casino experience through interactive gameplay that appeals to a new generation of players.

Initial Feedback Has Been Positive

Casino operators have been supportive of Competition Interactive’s rollout of Running Rich GRAND PRIX, according to CEO Paul Steelman. He credits this to their recognition of the need to attract new customers to the gaming floor. Steelman recalled seeing younger visitors bypass the sportsbook and slot areas entirely, heading straight to the restaurants. Many in that demographic, he noted, aren’t inclined to play traditional slot machines.

While the company initially explored the idea of developing a skill-based slot machine, Steelman explained that the concept didn’t resonate with traditional slot players. This led to a new challenge: how to engage both existing slot players and a younger audience at the same time.

According to Winters, feedback on the slot machine has been overwhelmingly positive from all kinds of players. Its eye-catching lights, multiple screens, and steering wheel often draw curious onlookers who stop to check it out. Winters also explained that the studio is “bringing the home video game console into the casino” thanks to Running Rich GRAND PRIX.

Considering the overwhelmingly positive reception that the game has received, Competition Interactive now plans to continue to release it in downtown and Strip casinos.
