RSI Introduces BetRivers Poker In Three New States

Rush Street Interactive (RSI), a prominent online casino and sports betting operator in North and South America, has announced the launch of its proprietary online poker platform, BetRivers Poker, in Delaware, Michigan, and West Virginia.

RSI Announces Massive Expansion

The announcement follows the platform’s initial launch in Pennsylvania in late 2024. This latest expansion is designed to integrate player pools across four states, fostering greater competition, larger tournament prizes, and a wider selection of games. RSI’s expansion is made possible through the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA), a legal framework that allows participating states to combine online poker player pools across state boundaries.

With this expansion, Rush Street Interactive has unified the poker player pools across all four states where it operates into a single, consolidated network. This shared liquidity is anticipated to enhance the overall player experience by offering a broader selection of games, increased tournament prize pools, and a more robust cash-game environment.

RSI stated that the integrated poker network will enable more frequent and larger-scale tournaments, along with a wider variety of game formats, delivering benefits to both casual players and high-volume participants. It should also be noted that the company’s expansion into Delaware, Michigan, and West Virginia comes after RSI reported a 21% year-over-year revenue increase last month for the first quarter of 2025. Now, the company seems to be in an even better position at the start of its new expansion.

RSI CEO Richard Schwartz expressed his optimism about the expansion. According to him, the introduction of a unified cross-state player pool marks a significant enhancement to the BetRivers Poker experience. By broadening the network, the platform is expected to attract more players, provide a greater variety of games, and increase tournament prize pools.

The development of BetRivers Poker has been heavily influenced by feedback from the poker community, with significant contributions from renowned poker professional and industry innovator Phil Galfond. Galfond played a key role in shaping the platform’s gameplay and features, with a strong focus on fairness and rewarding players.
